The disconnectors are in effect safety devices and severe for mechanical isolation of systems. In the open position they provide a visible isolation distance. They are able to open or close a circuit if either a negligible current is switched or if no significant change occurs in the voltage between the terminal of the poles. The disconnectors can be applied in many of the usual switchyard layouts of high voltage installation. They are designed for horizontal outdoor application. Under special conditions vertical installation is possible. For earthing and short circulation of switched out portion of the installation, the incorporation of one or two earthling switches are possible on each disconnector.
Successful type tests on the disconnectors have been carried out in our own and independent test laboratories in accordance with the latest ISS/IEC and DIN/VDE standards. Quality control of individual parts during manufactures ensure constant excellent product quality. Each equipment is subjected to all the routine tests also as per relevant standard at our before dispatch.
Horn gap fuse is a protective device which is used to protect the equipment from higher voltage. Horn gap fuse is an element as compared to a load line when high current is drawn in line in which the wire melts to protect the line.
The drop out fuses simplest and most effective safety device for small distribution transformer. The drop out fuse open the circuit and serve the mechanical isolation of system in case of flow of fault current. The drop out fuses are designed for vertical installation. They are practically maintenance free as they required duly replacement of fuse element.
